A book of photographs made in Texas from 2022–2025.
Influenced by the blues, Japanese photobooks, southern gothic tradition, and the movies I watch at the Texas Theatre. Along with everything else rattling around in my head. These pictures look at the strange, overlooked, sad, and beautiful parts of the state. Signs, people, and places you might pass without noticing, until you really do.
For me, this book is a kind of apology for the way things are here. To everyone, and to myself.
